3D FRONSAC with PSF Reconstruction

Purpose: This study extends the Fast ROtary Nonlinear Spatial ACquisition (FRONSAC) method to include 3D acquisitions and reconstructions. It also presents a transform domain reconstruction that makes reconstructions practical provides new insights into how parallel imaging performance is enhanced by FRONSAC encoding. Methods: work developed first examples of incorporated acquisition. was tested on human subjects with both simple gradient echo MPRAGE Cartesian acquisitions. The quality images evaluated using structural similarity index measure (SSIM), normalized root mean square error (NRMSE). Results: encoding did not significantly modify contrast obtained in either sequence, but it substantially improves image undersampled reconstruction. have reduced undersampling ghosts consistently improved SSIM NRMSE. Conclusions: Acquisition are feasible, additional highly images.
